Digital Transformation in the Creative and Cultural Industries: A Bibliometric Analysis of Computational Trends

Resumen

The article analyzes scientific information on the evolution of computer science in the creative and cultural industries, an approach that has been consolidated as a driver of the global economy, fundamentally based on knowledge, innovation, and creativity. A search of documents was conducted in the Scopus databases (1983-2025) to analyze the central themes and the most influential authors. The research was developed in three phases: (1) search criteria within the research field, (2) performance analysis, and (3) results analysis. The results showed a steady increase in the production of studies, particularly since 2019, focusing primarily on the areas of digitalization, innovation, and artificial intelligence. The authors with the highest number of publications originate from China, Indonesia, and Malaysia. The research determines the convergence between computing and creativity, which constitutes a strategic opportunity for global development. It is suggested that future studies be expanded to include other sources and temporal contexts.
