Gamificación pedagógica basada en objetivos (no en “jugar por jugar”): impacto en autorregulación y persistencia

Resumen

El presente estudio analizó el impacto de la gamificación pedagógica basada en objetivos en la autorregulación del aprendizaje y la persistencia académica. Bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, explicativo y cuasi-experimental, se aplicaron cuestionarios pretest y postest a una muestra de 246 estudiantes antes y después de una intervención de ocho semanas. El diseño integró mecánicas de juego articuladas con metas curriculares, retroalimentación inmediata e itinerarios adaptativos. Los hallazgos revelaron un incremento sustancial en la autorregulación: el nivel alto de planificación aumentó del 18.7% al 58.5%, la supervisión metacognitiva del 21.1% al 63.8% y la autoevaluación del 16.3% al 61.0%. En cuanto a la persistencia académica, la resiliencia ante el error ascendió del 19.5% al 71.1% y el mantenimiento del esfuerzo en tareas complejas del 23.6% al 67.5%. En conclusión, la gamificación intencionada actúa como un andamiaje efectivo que resignifica el error como oportunidad de aprendizaje y promueve la autonomía estudiantil, demostrando que el éxito de esta metodología radica en la claridad de los objetivos pedagógicos y no en el simple entretenimiento.
